I've heard that Rosamund Pike dated Simon Woods (aka Mr. Bingley)... and now here's an article about her currently dating her P&P director, Joe Wright. British actress ROSAMUND PIKE found love on the set of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE this year (05) - with the film's director JOE WRIGHT. The former BOND girl, 26, and Wright, 33, started dating on the British set of the film six months ago (JUN05) and have recently moved into a flat together in London. Pike previously dated her PRIDE AND PREJUDICE co-star SIMON WOODS, who played her character JANE BENNETT's love interest MR BINGLEY. Must be kind of weird tho for Rosamud.... getting a marriage proposal from your ex while your new catch is sitting in the directors seat watching you saying in tears "a thousand times yes" . Maybe she was thinking of Joe.... I would love to see a sequel but I don't think it will ever happen *sigh*. Hopefully in time they will bring out a special edition with all the deleted scenes....! Btw, I just saw the James Bond movie "Die Another Day" just the other day on cable tv. Rosamund was in this movie and she was a very bad girl in this movie. Wow, she and Dame Judy Dench aka Lady C in P&P had a scene together in this movie and I almost pictured them as Jane Bennet and Lady C in a different world. Also, I saw her in that "Doom" movie with The Rock. She was good on it, but the movie was just ok for me. It was too much action for my taste , lol. From the very few movies I've seen from her, I think RP's best role or character she played (to date) was P&P's Jane Bennet. Rosamund was pretty good here even though she had a small role. I loved her Lady Harriet character. She reminded me of JA's Emma. Speaking of Rosamund, her latest film Fracture with Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling is now available on DVD. It was just released this past Tuesday. I haven't seen it yet, but I bought my copy as I wanna see how she does in this film. Has anyone seen Fracture or any other Rosamund films (besides P&P) Besides P&P '05... I've seen her in the following: - Die Another Day (Bond film) with Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry - Doom with The Rock - Wives and Daughters (TV Mini-Series) with Justin Waddell, Tom Hollander, Keeley Hawes - The Libertine with Johnny Depp, Tom Hollander, Kelly Reilly, and Rupert Friend and hopefully, I'll see Fracture soon (and add it to my list ^) as I just bought my dvd copy of it. I'm surprise that he/she (and 5 other fans) was ignored by Miss Pike! She doesn't seem like the type of person who would be a snob or rude esp. with her fans, but of course, I've never meet her, so I don't know what she's like in person. Perhaps, she didn't know if they were really fans of hers or just some crazy people, strangely following her around and they were scaring her, so she didn't approached them Who knows right? lol. Well, I've also read 2 other RP fans comments (on IMDB) who had meet her in that same play as well who would probably disagree... Here's what energizerbunny21 said: "I was in the front row for a night performance, and waited at the stage door afterwards for autographs (yeah, I'm a theatre geek. big deal.) Anyway, her performance was stunning and Pike herself was so incredibly sweet. Like you said Liz, they're are just humans and they're not perfect. Sometimes they can appear like they are unfriendly or rude to other people, but perhaps they didn't know what's really going on through that person's head...whether they are famous people or not. She did say hello to them at least (though according to her/him it sounded "unfriendly"). What else should she say to strangers right? At least she didn't completely ignored them. Doesn't mean she was rude or unfriendly. Oh, well, I don't know...people will always interpret things differently on their experience of meeting their favorite stars.
